How I draw pixel art

1. Choose an image or create an idea in your head.
2. Sketch the image on graph paper to create a blueprint of the image.
3. Map out the colors you want to use and decide how many pixels to use for each color.
4. Select the appropriate sized pixel brush for the job, and start drawing the pixels.
5. Work in small chunks and take breaks if needed.
6. Use the color palette to select hues and shades.
7. Make sure the overall composition looks good.
8. Add shadows and highlights to bring your piece to life.
9. Cleanup misaligned pixels if needed.
10. Save your work and admire it!
